jme blam artwork 245x227 Review: JMEBlam!

Artist: JME Release: Blam! Release Date: Out Now:

You live over time Grime artists have broken into the over ground with various tracks like Wiley`s " Wot you visit it" to Skepta`s "Doin it again" not to mention Kano and his "P`s and Q`s" which all turned out to be big bangers that still get played in clubs all over the UK.

But now you lean to hear alot of urban funky remixes of harder Grime artists such as "Next Hype" by "Tempa T" but as Grime goes one name stands out from most_.

JME_he`s Skepta`s brother and a long standing member of Meridian/Boy Better Live and Blood but what alot of people outside the Grunge scene don`t recognize is JME is one of the finest MC/Producers to get out of the UK. Most DJs will know JME as a hardcore Grime producer with tracks such as "P Instrumental" and "96 Bars" but JME is a MC with a difference! His lyrics can come across as amusing in parts but also you can say that he is all for Grease and everything that comes with it.

With the Blam album being out for a few weeks your brought into a track "Darker" feat "Trigga" from the Shadow Demon Coillition most know him from the Jungle/Drum and Bass events about the UK. The track introduces him and his collectives as good as other big Grimes artist such as Wiley, Jammer, Skepta and Big H to observe a few. The album only shows how diverse Grime has become from the years of Dizzee Rascal and Pay as You Go Cartel.

As a personal choice certain tracks stand out such as "Over Me" which sounds like it could be played at any dubstep event and destroy many bass bins, "Hospital" featuring "Shorty, Frisco, Skepta and Jammer" shows you how dissimilars sounds and elements make grime so different from any other genre. Grime has his comical side too with the track named "CD is Dead" feat "Tempa T" for me its only the fact that "Tempa T" is singing as good as showing you his lyrical talent.

Each track tells a different story showing you different angles of how JME sees Grime and how he goes around making it_"Sidetracked" featuring "Wiley" made me look like i could refer to the lyrics as many would but is it Grime maybe not but as Grime goes you can`t put your thumb on the genre and say "it sounds like this or that" its a stlye of underground music that everyone can get into and enjoy.

JME i pledge you with this prime example that Dirt is definatley NOT DEAD!!!
